Misbehaving Grapes

Hanging On SOLD
10 x 8
oil on wrapped canvas

These grapes were not co-operating at all when it came to being arranged in a pleasing composition so I gave up and painted their escape attempt. Next week I'm starting another large piece so for now just catching up on household chores and keeping the painting small and fun.

Misbehaving huh? When I first saw this gorgeous painting, I thought how sensual the colors and the way the grapes draped and curved around the bowl, but I'm assuming that's not the type of misbehaving you were referring to.

Sheila - you are too funny! But I was thinking of doing one with the grapes languishing along the rim of the bowl - hmm

Kristen - Thanks for the kind words - I did try to hold back on the blue which seems to often take over my paintings. Did sneak a little in though!
